Pranayama is an ancient breathing technique that originated in India. It has recently gained popularity in the West due to its many health benefits.
The class will begin with a brief introduction to the meaning, purpose and benefits of pranayama, followed by practicing specific techniques. As the class progresses, deeper practice sessions will be experienced. Gentle movement/asana will enhance the healing and revitalizing flow of energy through relaxation and proper physical alignment.
