Whole Wise Pines Package (16 Guests)

Wise Pines is a Holistic & Sustainable B&B/Hiker Hostel that offers a unique farm experience. The property has 2 treehouses (for lodging) and a 12 person renovated barn with 2 private rooms and a bunkroom. Wise Pines sits on 40 acres of land, complete with walking/hiking trails and a pond to sit by and enjoy. The owners live on property with their dogs, goats & chickens.All lodging accommodations are available on this listing, so your reservation would be the ONLY reservation at Wise Pines during your stay. (Both treehouses and The Barn can be found on separate listings.) Below is a description of all the spaces available in your reservation.

The Barn:

This two level renovated barn offers two private rooms, each with a queen sized bed, a bunk room of 8 beds (4 bunk beds) with a small seating area, and a large upper deck that looks over the property with views of wild sunsets. There is a bathroom with two private toilets and showers. There is a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave, toaster oven, 10.1 cubic fridge, and coffee maker. (There are 2 mini fridges in The Lodge and 1 in each treehouse as well) If you need more space than what our refrigerators can hold, please be prepared to bring your own cooler. The Wise Pines office is a room in The Barn, which has an additional entrance in the back of the building for staff to use.

The barn is a short walk from the 2 treehouses and is nearby the common building, the shared space for all guests to relax, eat, and attend studio events.

The Treehouses:

Each treehouse is one room and tucked lightly into the woods for a tranquil setting, not far from the other treehouse of its kind. The space includes a lush queen-sized bed, a table with bar stools, a dresser, mini fridge, water dispenser with glassware, and 4 large windows. Heat is available, so as to be enjoyed all year long. There is not air conditioning, but they treehouses are shaded, well insulated and have ample windows for a nice breeze. ONE treehouse is dog friendly.

The bathroom and shower are located in the common building down a slightly steep gravel walking path (about 160 ft away).

The Lodge:

This is the common building at the bottom of the hill. There is a kitchen with a flat-top griddle, outdoor grill, microwave, toaster oven, pizza pizzaz, blender, coffee maker and electric kettle for you to use. The oven and stove are NOT available for guest use as it is a commercial kitchen. All ingredients in the kitchen are off limits (this includes coffee and tea which is reserved only for our guests who are paying for breakfast). If you choose to opt out of breakfast, please be prepared to bring your own foods/beverages that you wish to have during your stay. If anyone in your group is having breakfast, we ask that the kitchen is not in use by guests while we prepare breakfast. The kitchen may be in use during your stay by staff members, but guests are also able to use the kitchen (aside from during Wise Pines breakfast hours.)

Outdoors:

The walking trails are about a mile in total length have both mild terrain and steep inclines/declines. There is a fire pit for guests to use, multiple outdoor tables, including one by the grill and another just by the pond. The pond is not for swimming, but you are more than welcome to enjoy sitting by it and enjoying the sound of the frogs or the shade of the willow tree. There is a flat field in the front of the property where our solar panels are that would be great for some easy cross country skiing or snowshoeing. We are close by to many hiking trails, ski resorts, snowmobiling trails and unique Vermont and New Hampshire towns.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT NOTES:

Goats are natural escape artists and love to explore the property to eat trees and more grass. You may see them running around or taking an afternoon nap on the hill, outside of their fenced in area. The chicken and goat fence is *LIVE*.

Please note that the Wise Pine’s office is a closed-off room in the barn with its own entrance in the back of the building. During your reservation, we may use the office, but our time in there would be minimal and we would ALWAYS enter from the back of the building and not enter your space unless requested or in the case of an emergency.
